Emergency Bailout

Congress has failed to act! Ripples run rampant through the Wall Street and Stock Markets fall in value over 700 points! American people don't want the Congress to bail out the 'fat cats' those that are better off than they are in their financial lives. The market lost over 1 trillion dollars in value that affected many individuals 401k's. Many started screaming that their pensions were in danger, that their credit limits were being slashed by credit card companies, and if anyone was trying to buy a home found that getting credit is difficult.

The calls to Congress were changing once the individuals realized that their pocketbooks were being affected and now over 50% of the calls are for the bailout. Some call it a rescue, some call it a bailout, some call it a take over, many may even think it is the government taking care of the 'fat cats'.

Why do I talk about all of this in today's blog posting? People were not concerned about any of these issues until they saw their need and they were being personally affected by it.

Now let's move this to the spiritual realm. Long before people see their need for Christ the need is already there. The financial needs and markets were in trouble long before people realized it would impact them individually. The same is true for all people when it comes to their spiritual needs. Whether or not a person knows of their need for Jesus Christ in a personal relationship, the need is still there. There is a need for a 'spiritual bailout' if you will.

Our heavenly Father God has prepared a way for all that will come to him through Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit in faith. All we have to do is to repent, that is big word that says to turn from all the things that we do that are against a loving God and move into a relationship with Him.

So what am I trying to say? Bottom line, we are all in an emergency bailout need and there is only one that can make it happen for us and we don't have to wait for the vote. The price has already been paid by Christ on the cross for you.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the aye's are in majority and the measure passes."

Praise God!
