I love to hear and see biblical quotes in our everyday lives. March 1st, 2010 on NBC I heard one that really caught my attention. It was a news report about Jay Leno returning to the Tonight Show. The news reporter was talking about the Second Coming of Jay Leno to the show that he owned before he was moved to another time frame by his network.
Interesting! Jay returned to that which was rightly his before he left it and now is returning to it. We miss opportunities to share about the real Second Coming. You know, the one that the Bible talks about where Jesus Christ, who is part of the Trinity, will be coming back to the earth that he left years and years ago?
So now you can talk about the Second Coming and use the phrase to talk about Jay Leno but move over quickly to the real Second Coming, Jesus Christ. So now I have to go and watch Jay and the Second Coming.
